Deaconess Mama Risper Achieng Manyala

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Deaconess Mama Risper Achieng Manyala of VOSH Church International on 23rd October 2022 while undergoing treatment at the Kenyatta University Referral Hospital.

Daughter to the late Mzee Daniel Okello Yoto and Mama Hellen Okello Yoto. Loving wife to Pst. Michael Manyala Ogalo (VOSH Church International). Mother to Harrison Ogwedhi (ElShaddai, Kolweny), Fenny Atieno (MoH, Kilifi), Plan. Paul Ogweno (CoG, Mombasa), Eng. Silas Omondi (SDPW, Nairobi), Dickson Otieno (G4S, Mumias), Plan. Richard Otieno (Romtek, Mombasa), Patrick Ojwang (Peakpoint, Mombasa) and the late Joseph Owuor.

Aunty to Emmanuel (MoH, Homa Bay), Alice (MoED, Kajiado), Eng. Midika (CoG, Kisumu), Gaudensia (MoED, Kisumu), Jacob (ABDP, Nyeri), Gradus (CoG, Kisumu), Samson, Mary, Moses, Mourice and the lates Wilson, Everlyn and Mark.

Mother-in-law to Regina, Tom (MoED, Mombasa), Linda (Dir. Peakpoint, Mombasa), Milca, Nancy, Magdalene, Sandra (ACC, Siaya), Mary, Diana (CoG, Kisumu), Beatrice and Naomi.

Grandmother to Juliet, Joseph, Jael, Junior, Whitney, Fabian, Tatiana, Tiffany, Liam, Lemuel, Temira, Grace, Risper, Treza, Kate, Andrew, Dorcas, Carl and Zane. Other grandchildren include Jael, Mark, John, Alice, Martha, Jael, Neville, James, Mark, Jael, Kara, Midika, Dessy, Diana and Jael. Great-Grandmother to Daniel,Tamara and the late Ryan.

Sister to Meshack, Paul, Johnson, Maurice, Wilson, Owando and the late Isabella.

Daughter-in-Law to the late Moses Ogalo Odero and the late Mama Julia Ajwang Ogalo. Sister-in-Law to Teresia, Selina Opaka, Philista Obuom, Margaret Jagero, Fleria Alaro, Pamela Juma, Monica Ogalo, Lates Johnson Bodi, Deborah Bodi, Benta Bodi, Mark Okumu, Ogongo Were, Obonyo, Okenyu, Nyondiek, Dickson and Jael Okumu.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her rural home in Nyakach Kadianga and others virtually.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home on 10th November 2022. Burial will be conducted at her home in Abwao village, Nyakach Kadianga, Kisumu County on 11th November, 2022. The funeral service will be led by VOSH Church International from 10.00am.
