The family of Gervas Makokha Kwena regret to announce the death of Deina Mukasia Mwisheni Kwena which occurred on 15th July, 2022 after long illness. She was retired copy typist at Busia Municipal Council.

Daughter to the late Joel Mwisheni and Enesi Mwerisitsi of Ilesi, Khayega Kakamega County. Daughter-in-law to the late Edward Makokha Kwena (Twarito).

Wife to the late Gervas Makokha Kwena of Elukongo village, Butula, Busia. She was beloved mother to Praxedes Abonyo, Cecilia Musundi Chemei, Edith Kwena Angolo, Charles Lwanga, Frankline Muyodi, Titus Ayieko Kwena, Petronilla Ondusye, Mariana Kwena, Denis Hungu, Hillman Ochola.

Mother-in-law to Hassan Ndeda, John Chemei, Lawrence Angolo (CAS Agriculture), Boniface, Caroline Wandera, Caroline Nyamwata, Mary, Anyore. Beloved aunt to the Karani’s (Mululu – Maragoli), the Musonye’s, the Muhadia’s, the Koinanges, the Kuchio’s, the Ondusye’s, the Ongoma’s, the Masbay’s, the kokha’s, the Muyodi’s, the Etyang’s and many more.

Sister to the late Elizabeth Karani (Mululu), the late Ebby Musungu, Peris Musonye, Mary Muhadia. Sister-in-law to Okwaro’s, the Ondusye’s, the Otsure’s, the Makokha’s, the Echesa’s, the Kwena’s among others.

Harambee is ongoing at Mayenje village home, Busia border.

The cortege leaves Bugeng’i Morgue on 28th July, 2022 for mass at Bulanda Parish for night vigil hymns. Prayers at Mayenje Village Home, Matayos Sub-County, Busia border.

The cortege then leaves Mayenje Village on 29th July, 2022 to the late Gervas Martin Makokha ancestral home, Elukongo village, Butula Sub-county, Busia for burial on 30th July, 2022.
