The Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute (KIRDI) Staff Welfare Association regrets to announce the sudden death of Derick Charles Ochieng’ of KIRDI Nairobi which occurred on 20th August, 2023.

He was the son to Tobias Adera Ochieng’ and Caroline Murundu Adera. Step-son to Beatrice and Hellen Onyango. Brother to Owen, Jared, Kevin and Clifford Ochieng’.

Grandson to the late Charles Ochieng’ and the late Claris Ochieng’ and the late Jared Murundu and the late Floice Murundu.

Nephew to Alice, Esther, the late Francis Onyango, Roseline, the late Duncan, the late Caren, Alice Ochieng, the late Duncan, the late Abel, Dorcas Charles, Joshua, Joseph Murundu of Kisa.

Cousin to Jared, Vincent, Edwin, Beryl, Fedinus, Victor, Nancy, Rachael, Michael, Dennis, Brian, Irene and Enos.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Friday, 1st September, 2023 and burial will take place on Saturday, 2nd September, 2023 at their rural home in Kano-Kobura, Kadho Sub-location, Kabuto Village (Kaluore).

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at Kangemi next Harvest Center Church.
