Diana Wanjiku Njuya

1941 – March 17, 2023

It is with great sorrow and acceptance that we announce the passing of Diana Wanjiku Njuya who went to be with the Lord on Friday 17 March 2023.

Daughter to the late Mr. Ngaruiya and the late Wangu of Muhohoyo area near Punda Milia Makuyu.

She was the loving wife of the late Joel Njuya Mutega of Kahuho Village near Sabasaba Town. Mother to the late Moses Mungai Njuya, Joyce Njoki Gakuya, Perpetual Wangu Njuya, Anne Wairimu Githinji, Hon. Mary Wamaua (MP Maragua), Beth Wanjiru Watene, Harrison Ngaruiya Njuya and Phoebe Muthoni Maingi.

Sister-in-law to the late George Ndungu Mutega, Beth Wanjiru Mburu, Eliud Mbugua Mutega and Anne Wairimu Mburu.

Sister to Mary Wairimu Muguro, Monica Muthoni Mburu, the late Dr. Fredrick Kinuthia Ngaruiya, Bernard Mbau Ngaruiya, Joseph Wanyoike Ngaruiya, and Lydiah Nduta Muiruri.

Mother in-law to Josphine Muthoni, Francis Gakuya, Peter Nioroge (Maua,) Grace Waithera, Steve Maingi. Grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting at Golden Palm Hotel Kenol daily at 5pm and at her home in Kahuho at 4pm.

The burial ceremony will be on Thursday 23rd March 2023 at Sabasaba Primary School ground Maragua Constituency, Muranga County at 10.00 Am. Thereafter, her body will be laid to rest at her Kahuho home near Sabasaba.
