Dina Akhatioli Muganda

It is with profound shock and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved mother Dina Akhatioli Muganda which occured on February 10, 2023 at Kakamega County Referral Hospital.

Daughter of the late Edward Mukoto and late Kalara Nalisi of Abamasaba clan, wife to the late Dickson Muganda of Abamwende clan, co-wife to the late Mama Sarah Lubanga, late Norah, Sofa, Nyandiwa and late Andeso.

Loving mother to Titus Muganda Rtd. Snr Ass. Chief and Kennedy Katu Muganda. Step mum to Isaac, Hon Amisi, Wycliffe, Kilo, Emily, Margret, Lydia, Josephine, Dorine,Andalia, Catherine, Hon. PS Dr. Beatrice Muganda Inyangala, as well as their departed siblings: William, Fredrick, Joshua, Brown, Stephen, Josia, Elizabeth and Bweya.

Mama was Sister to Imonje, Shikundi, Shikami, Diffi all late, among others.

Aunty to many including Blasio, Kuyebi, Shikami, Sideyo, Siphrose, Adelaide and Modesta.

Mother-in-law to Mical, Sophie, Consolata, Seruya, Rebecca, Mary Rapando, Linet, Jane, Mary Amis, Jenipher, late Grace, Judith among others. Also mother inlaw of Evans and Dr Ronald Inyangala, late Mushira, late Ambembo and late Odipo among others.

Grandmother to many including Jared, Frank, Kelvin, Max, Eugene, Bishop, Ronsbel, Valary, Hesbon, Bonface Muganda, Senephrine, late Audrey, Damas, Felix, Sheldon, Blair, Caroline, Phanice Sarah, Joy, Reuben, Derrick, Delvin, Ian, Felix, Bridgit, Jenipher, Dr. Cynthia, Mercy, Brian, Cheryl, Atenya, Akuta, Rodgers Nabwera, George Andati, Lucy and Martha Nanzushi among others.

The cortege left Kakamega Funeral Parlour on Friday, February 17, 2023, Mama Dinah shall be laid to rest on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at her home in Eshlkhonl Village, Kakamega County.
