Dishon Gakuru Kimani (GK)

We are sad to announce the death of Dishon Gakuru Kimani (GK), which occurred following a grisly road accident on 2nd September, 2023.

Husband to Peris Wanjiku Gakuru. Father to Baby Ellis Kimani and Alma Wangari.

Son to James Kimani Kamuru and Jane Muthoni Kimani of Gathuke-ini, Muranga. Son-in-law to Moses Kimotho Wachira and Janet Nyaguthii Kimotho of Gamerock, Nyeri.

Brother to Annie Wambui and Joseph Mwangi Maina; and Agnes Wanjiku and Stephen Kimani. Brother-in-law to Engineer Francis and Rose Kahumbi, George and Clarisee Mathu (Intertek International) and Caroline Nyaguthii (Business-lady, Nairobi).

Nephew to Wambui Kamuru (Muthiga), the late Njambi Kamuru, Dr. Muthoni Kamuru (Egerton University), the late Wambu Kamuru, Wanjiru Kamutu (S2.basaba), the late Wagituu Kamuru, Wamaitha Kamuru, Maina Kamuru and Wamuyu Kamuru.

Cousin to Dickson, Kimari, Charles, Kenneth, Gakuru, Murage, Cate, Irungu, Wanjiru, Njuguna, the late Kamau, Wambu, Shiku, Rena, Jacqueline, Joash, Abby, Ivy, Ian, Serah, Lynn, Angelina, Susan, Maina, Wangari, Sam, Njoki, Wanderi and Philip, among others. Grandson to the late Kamuru Wa Wambu and Agnes Wanjiku Kamuru of Gatare Village, Gathuke-ini, Gaturi Sub-county, Murang’a.

Friends and relatives are meeting today Thursday 7th September, 2023 and tomorrow Friday 8th September, 2023 at Sagas Restaurant, opposite Garden City Mall, and daily at his parents home in Gathuke-ini, for prayers and burial preparation.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home – Kabati, on Saturday 9th September, 2023 at 9.00am, or a funeral service at ACK St. Michael’s Church – Gathuke-ini. Thereafter, the burial ceremony will be held at his parent’s home in Gatare Village, Gathuke-ini, Gaturi Sub-county, Kiharu, Murang’a County.
