It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Domenica Wambui Mwangi of Ruruguti – Othaya, which occurred on Sunday 25th October 2023.

Wife of the late Dominic Mwangi.

Daughter of the late Simon Waititu Kariri and Martha Muringi Kariri.

Mother to Mathew (Matia) and Monica Ndirangu, the late Martha Muringi, the late Simon Waititu, the late Jenia
Wanjiku, the late Sisto Kagika and MCA Hon. Priscilla Thanji. A beloved adoptive mother to Amb. Nelson Ndirangu, Mary Wanjugu, Venerada Nyambura and Anastasia Mwangi

Beloved sister to Domitilla Wanjiku, the late Thomas Kiragu, Magdalene Nyaguthii, & the late Joseph Githinji, the late Priscilla Wangui and the late Rey. Fr. Delphine Mugo.

Cherished grandmother to Patrick Mwangi, Stella Kibe, the late Gilbert Githua, Simon Waititu, Catherine Muringi, Magdalene Muringi, Regina Thanji and Catherine Thanji.

Special friend and great-grandmother to Dennis Ndirangu among others.

Prayers and funeral planning meetings are being held daily at her home in Ruruguti Village, Othaya and at Matia’s home in Membley Ruiru, from 5.30pm.

The cortege departs Mwai Kibaki Funeral Home – Othaya on Wednesday 8th November, 2023 at 9.00am, for a funeral service led by Holy Family Catholic Church at the Ruruguti Primary School grounds, from 10.00am and
thereafter the burial will be at her home in Kiandemi, Ruruguti.

Special fundraiser and planning meeting will be held at the Sandton Hotel, aveta Road on Monday, 6th November 2023 from 6.00pm.
