It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Dorcas Jematia Chemng’orem of Kabarnet farm near Kabarak University, Nakuru which occurred on Monday, 14th October, 2019 at Nakuru War Memorial Hospital, after a long battle with cancer.

Wife of Stanley K. Chemng’orem, mother of Margaret J. Kemei, Patrick Kiprotich (U.S.A), Vincent Rerimoi, Lillian Jepkorir (USA) and Linda Jemutai (USA). Mother in Law to Peter Kemei, Brenda Jeptoo, Yvonne Khatambi and Peter Riedy. Grandmother of Sonia, Claudia, Kibet, Kiplimo, Allison, Talaa, Tanei, Cornell, Caylee, Jayden, Jade, Matia. She was daughter of the late Ex-Senior Chief Joel C. Chemirmir and the late Esther Chemirmir. Step-daughter of the late Selina and Emily Chemirmir.

Daughter-in-law of the late Joseph Toroitich C. Chemng’orem and the late Hannah Sote. Sister of the late Paul Chemirmir, the late Lisa Rotich, Hellen Boit, the late Musa Chemirmir, the late Albert Chemirmir, the late Samson Chemirmir, the late Wesley, Peninah Sigilai, the late Jane, John, Sila, Tom, the late Roselyn, the late Julia, Grace, the late Katiba, Alice, the late Roy, Billy, Antony, Fred, Mercy, George, Dick, Noah, Douglas and Raymond Chemirmir. Niece of the late Kipkosgei Chegunur and the late Timor) Kipsambu Kosgei. Aunty of Margaret, Priscilla, Jackson, Belinda, Pauline, Kibet, Evans, Wany, the late Regina, Diana, Collins, Kibiwott among others.

Sister-in-law of Joel and Florence, the late Henry and the late Agnes, Paul & Jane, the late David & Jane, Douglas & Winnie, Alice & the late Paul Sesat, Milka & the late Jackson Ruto, the late Jennifer & Edward Kipsang, the late Rhoda & the late Mbugua.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at their home from 4:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a fund-raiser today from 5:00pm at Bontana Hotel, Nakuru and Wednesday 23rd October, 2019 from 5:00pm at Ukulima Cooperative House, Nairobi. Contributions can be made through Mpesa No. 0722545688 and 0721953088.

The cortege leaves Nakuru war memorial hospital mortuary on Saturday 26th October, 2019 at 8:30am for funeral service and burial at their home at Kabarnet farm, Nakuru.
