It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Dorcas Muthoni Irungu on June 15, 2018.

Wife of Benson Njuguna Irungu. Mother of Martin Irungu (USA), Ruth Irungu (Nairobi), James Irungu (USA), Joseph Irungu (Nairobi) and Emily Irungu (Spain). Daughter of the late Wilson and Monica Kamau. Sister of the late Mary Wanjiku, Purity Kiruri (Naivasha), the late Joseph Githinji, Grace Wangari (USA), Martha Njeri, Lilian Wafula, Damaris Nyambura (USA), Laban Muturi, Samuel Murega, and Jane Kariau. Daughter-in-law of the late Julia Njeri. Sister-in-law of Henry Mwangi (Thika), Jackson Kabaka (Thika) and Kamau (Kabati). She was mother-in-law of Anthony and Antionette. Grandmother of Malika, Fanaka and Kyry.

There will be daily prayer services at the family home Githurai 45 at 5:30 pm.

The cortege leaves the Kenyatta University Funeral Home at 8:00 am on Friday 22nd June 2018 for a funeral service at Kabati Gwa Kairu thereafter burial at the family farm.
