Dorcas Naliaka Mmbasu Wanyonyi

We regret to announce the sudden demise of our beloved Mother, Sister and Friend Dorcas Naliaka Mmbasu Wanyonyi, which occurred on 19th January, 2023 while undergoing treatment at Cherengany Nursing Home.

Daughter of the late Elijah Mmbasu and the late Rasoa Masitsa. Daughter-in-law to the late Wilson Mafuga and the late Naomi Nandutu.

Loving wife to Mr. Jotham Wanyonyi. Doting mother to Sarah Masitsa, Dr. Timothy Kitui (USA), Anthony Keya (UAE), Bonface Chisika, Alex Masake, Joan Ndeso and Elijah Mmbasu.

Sister to the late Selina, Jedida, Margaret, Sarah, Martha Wanjala, Johnstone, Enock, Chisika, Jacob Shirandula, Mathews Avomba.

Sister-in-law to Jessica, Rev Nabwora, Bshp Kakai, Martha, Evelyn, Pamela, Benson and Samson. Mother-in-law to Dinah, Sharon, Swin, Esther, and Keith.

Loving grandmother to Morgan, James, Charity,Wilson, Ravelin, Naomi, Favour, Alpha, Elena, Chadash, Shanel, Celine, Pantaleon, Kayden and Naomi.

The cortege leaves Cherengani Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 2nd February, 2023 for a memorial service at ACK Muungano Parish. Another Memorial service will be held at the IFOM Church in Springfield MA, USA on Friday.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday 4th February, 2023 at the family homestead in Muungano, Kiminini, Trans-Nzoia County.
