It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved mother Dorcas Nanjululu lsanya, which occurred on 10th February, 2023 at the Aga Khan Hospital -Kisumu.

Daughter to the late Kalavai Wa Kalavai and the late Sifuma. Daughter-in-law to the late Shihunwa and Sarah Lung’atso Shihunwa. Sister-in-law to the late Lucias, the late Mmbone and the late Mmali.

Loving wife to the late Christopher lsinya Shihunwa. Mother to Joyce Mmbaya, Mary Ayuma, Doris Achitsa, Jafred Musamba, Jennifer Atamba lsanya, Milton Bahati and Peter Mambo.

She is survived by 23 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayer and funeral arrangements at the family home in Murhanda, Kakamega County.

The cortege leaves Kakamega Referral Funeral Home on Thursday 16th February, 2023 at 3:00pm for an overnight stay at the family home Murhanda Village, Shisembe Sub-location, Kakamega County. The Funeral Service and burial will be held on Saturday, 18th February, 2023 starting at 10:00am.
