The Pambu family wishes to announce the demise of Dorine Auma Otieno (Retiree – PCK), which occurred on 09 May 2022, at St. Joseph’s Nyabondo Mission Hospital.
She was daughter of the late Eliakim and Hellena Abuor of Kano, Kabonyo Kanyagwal. She was the wife to Nashon Otieno Pambu of Nyakach Kandaria, Kosogo. Loving and devoted Mother to Daudi Omondi Pambuh (ROO, Nyanza), Ronald Ngala Otieno (USA), Jackson Alango Otieno (USA), Grace Akinyi Otieno (Canada) and Phillip Ochieng Pambuh (USA). Mother-in-law to Judith Mutethya Mbiti, Mwamba Otieno (USA), Ronnivashti Whitehead (USA) and Paul Omondi (Uganda). She was a loving grandmother to Chileshe Otieno & Mwila Otieno, Abubakar Otieno, Jahera Pambuh & Jedalya Miyago, Shemil Akoth & Edgar Ochieng.
She was sister to Manasse Odhong’, Nelson Onyango and Joshua Odoyo Abuor, Peres Akoth Ongadi & Esther Adoyo Abuor, the late Margaretta Nyolo, Lice Nang, Salina Akeyo Okumu & Miriam Atieno Omulo.
Sister-in-law to Risper Ouko, Nehemiah Pambu, Malachi Pambu, He!Ida Agandi; the late Peres Okiro 8 Hesbon Okoth Pambu.
Through her extended family all over Kenya and abroad, she was an Aunt, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
Dorine was a dear friend and colleague to rnany.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her rural home.
The burial and funeral service will be held at her home in Nyakach, Kandaria, Thim Village, on Wednesday 18 May 2022.
