It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved mother Dorothy Adhiambo Ochieng on 9th January, 2023 at Avenue Hospital – Kisumu.

Wife to the late Thomas Ochieng Mbaria. Co-wife to Benter Ochieng. Daughter to the late Wilson Mambo and the late Caren Mambo. Step-daughter to Gaudensia Mambo of Kowidi, Kabondo, Kolero Village, Homabay County. Daughter-in-law to the late Simeon Mbaria Ochieng and the late Rachael Mbaria of Wamgiri Village, Sidho Kore, Ombeyi Ward, Muhoroni Sub-county. Granddaughter to Cliophas and Masela Olwa. Niece to the late Gideon and the late Rachael Kolwa,Yugi, Samuel, Joshua, Joel, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a fundraiser on Wednesday 18th January, 2023 at her home from 2.00pm to assist the family and any financial assistance can be sent to the number: 0724-37850.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday 21st January, 2023 presided over by the Church of Saviour, at Kore Primary School, Sidho, Wamgiri Village Ahero Irrigation Scheme, Ombeyi Ward, Muhoroni Sub-county, Kisumu County, followed by a private interment at her home.
