It is with humble acceptance that we announce the passing on of Dr David Kefa Sakari on 13/01/2019.

Son of Mzee Nathan Wekesa Sakari and the late Mama Leah Wekesa of Lugulu. Husband of Christine. Father of Belinda Wangeci, Naomi Namarome and Rita Rasoa. Brother of Abigail Simiyu, Joseph Soita, Kate Njeru and the late Jimmy Walucho. Brother in law of Hon. Eseli Simiyu, Roberts Njeru and Metrine Soita. Uncle of Steve Anyuli, Naomi Namarome, Shummy Sitawa, Sharon Mwende, Stacy Rasoah, Salma Nasiminyu, Quincy Timona and Eddie Mwaniki. Cousin of the Sirengos, Wakubes, Khaembas, Wanyonyis, Masindes, Wanjalas, Sakwas Msees, Wesongas, Maganas, amongst several others. Nephew of Rachael Sirengo, The Late Isaya Khaemba, The Late Mellap Wakube, The late Jacob Timona, Julius Makokha, Donald Walucho, Newton Khakame, Dr. Soita, Ruth Masicha, Jedidah Wanjala, Esther Msee, Beatrice Sakwa, Mary Nyongesa, Sarah Wekesa, Gladys Magana, Mellap Chore, Agneta Juma, Evelyn Sumba, Susy Timona, Anne Walucho amongst others,

There will be brief prayers at Montezuma Funeral Home Chapel on 18/012/2019 at 6.00 am. Thereafter the cortege will depart for his home in Lugulu, and will be laid to rest on Saturday 19/01/2019 at the family home in Lugulu, Bungoma County.

The lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be His name.
