With saddened hearts we announce the untimely passing on of Dr. David Kimutai Bunyatta, former retired lecturer at Kisii University, of Poror sublocation in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County which occurred on 16th March 2021 at MP Shah Hospital Nairobi.

Son of the late Silotei arap Kogo and the late Martha Silotei and Anne Tallai.

Husband to Emily Kangogo. Son-in-law to the late Chemurgeu Kangogo and the late Dinah Jepkemoi Tengekyon.

Brother to the late Drusilla, Japhet, Linah , Job, John, Alice, the late Joseph, Musa, the late Silah Silotei, Leah, Sammy, Jebet (Dorine), June and Millicent.

Brother-in-law to James Kangogo, Senior Chief Julius Kangogo, the late Col. Noah Kangogo, Philip Kangogo and Isaiah Kangogo. Father to Moureen Kimutai, Marion Kimutai and Emmanuel Kimutai. An uncle, granduncle, friend, colleague, role model, guardian and mentor to many.

His funeral will take place at his ancestral home at Kaptim Village in Eldama Ravine in Baringo County on Thursday 24th March, 2022.

Meetings and collections to defray medical and funeral costs are taking place daily until 23rd March, 2022 at his home in Kangemi – Nairobi.

The cortege leaves MP Shah Hospital on Thursday 24th March, 2022 morning.

Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there’s a trail of beautiful memories & touched hearts. You touched so many hearts and will forever be deeply endeared and missed.
