Dr. John Obiero Ogeto

12th July 1947- 11th October 2022

It is with humble acceptance of the Lord’s will that we announce the passing of Dr. John Obiero Ogeto who rested with the Lord on 11th October 2022.

Beloved husband of Anne G.B. Ogeto. Son to the late Nathan Ogeto and the late Tabitha Moraa. Father to Veronica Ogeto-Tchoketch, Pantaleo Ogeto and Angela Ogeto-Asiyo. Father-in-Law to Abdelhafid Tchoketch and Bob Asiyo. Grandfather to Billy, Sarah, Sophia, Irene, Adam, Ryan, and Maria.

Brother to the late Benson Omariba, the late Peris Momata, Peter Momanyi, Margaret Ogeto, Grace Lucas, the late James Nyarongi and Joyce Sarara. Brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, mentor and friend to many.

Mass will be held at Regina Caeli Catholic Church in Karen on 19th October 2022 at 10.00am and thereafter, he will be laid to rest at their family home at Mwata in Kisii on 21st October 2022.

A fundraiser shall be held on Tuesday, 18th October 2022 at Old Sanctuary at Maxwell SDA Church, Milimani from 5:00pm. Contributions to be made to MPESA Paybill No. 8068007, state your name as the Account Number.

You shall be dearly missed for we loved you deeply. May you rest well in the Lord.
