Dr. Johnson Mokaya Okemwa

Its with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the sudden death of Dr. Johnson Mokaya Okemwa – proprietor of Seaside Hospital Ganjoni Mombasa, at Premier Hospital, after a short illness.

Son of the late Snr. Chief Augostino Okemwa Onkoba and Marita Moraa Okemwa of Nyagetubo village Manga Sub-county Nyamira County. Husband To Hellen Mokaya.

Father To Richmond Mokaya, Brian Mokaya, Cynthia Mokaya, Kevin Fred and Kennedy Johnson.

Brother to Eunice Bosibori Obirwa, Issac Okemwa (County Commissioner’s Office – Migori, Jenifer Nyaboke Onsare, Naomi Sabina Motaeiti, James Onyinka Okemwa (Belguim) and Robert Nyabera Okemwa.

Step-brother to David Onkoba Okemwa, Alfred Maehoka, Pius Okemwa and the late Joseph Okemwa, among others.

Relatives, Aunt Ruth Moindi, Rebecca Nyagucha, Grandmother Teresia Morangi.

Cousin to Elijah Moindi, Uncle Hon. Samwel Kebati Osoro. Grandfather Samuel Omoke, among others of Nyagetubu village Kiabiraa Sub-location Getare Location Manga Sub-county Nyamira County.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence in Nyali Palm Garden Estate, off Links Road – just after Mamba Village – just past Wild Waters Gate for funeral arrangements.

There will be a major fundraising at his Nyali residence on Sunday 3rd April, 2022 from 2.00pm onwards.

Burial will take place on Friday 8th March, 2022 at his rural home Nyagetubo Village Nyamira County.

We loved you but God loved you most. May his soul rest in eternal peace till we meet again.
