Dr Jonah Mwendwa Mulatya

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Dr Jonah Mwendwa Mulatya on 8th September 2022.

Son of the Late Senior Chief Jonah Mulatya Masila and Diana Ng’ondu Mulatya. Loving husband to Philly Kambua Nyamai. Beloved brother to George Mulayta, the late Dr Reuben Kisuii (Mboo), Magdalene Wandii, Fredrick Mutuku, Dr. Lazarus Mulatya , Jacinta Mwikali and Rose Ndinda.

Brother-in-law to Reuben Mutevu, Prudence Mkanyika, Debora Mwikali, the late Florence Mutuku and Lucy Nthale. Loving father to John Mulatya Mwendwa, James Nyamai Mwendwa, Diana Ng’ondu Mwendwa, George Last Masila Mwendwa, Stacy Katiwa, Shanice Anne Molly and Shelmith Philly Kambua. Father-in-law to Wambui Muigai Mulatya and Sandra Mpereyon Lemako.

Meetings will be held daily at Dr Jonah Mwendwa Mulatya private residence in Makindu, Makueni County. A meeting will be held on Wednesday 14th September 2022 at Qaribu Inn Hotel Loresho, Nairobi County.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home – Nairobi County on Friday 16th September 2022 at 1:00pm. A Requiem service will be held on Friday 16th September 2022 at 4.00pm at GNCA Church Makindu.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday 17th September 2022 at 10:30am at the family home in Makindu, Makeuni County.

With memories strong and love so well shared, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
