Promotion to Glory and Celebration of a Life well lived for Dr. Joshua Waruiru Mwangi (Consultant Surgeon).

Son of the late David Mwangi Joshua and Mrs. Joyce Nyambura Mwangi Joshua).

Husband to Lucy Njoki Waruiru. Father to Joybrenda Nyambura, Kimberley Natalia Ng’endo and Kirsty Shanice Wanjiku.

Brother to the late Lucy Wanjiku, Beatrice Wambui (Accounts Office at Kibutha Mixed Secondary School), Nancy Mwangi (Director, Jopana Properties), Simon Gathungu (SUMAC Micro-finance – Nairobi), Evans Muriu (Britam Ltd) and Director, Eden Brook Camping Site.

Son-in-love to the late Edward Gichuhi and Mrs.Agnes Ng’endo of Kibiku, Wangige. Brother-in-law, Uncle and Cousins to many.

Friends and Relatives are meeting daily at All Saints Cathedral, starting 5.00pm – 7.00pm, his residence at Nairobi West, Kodi I, House No. 14 and at the rural home at Kibutha Village, Kangema, Murang’a County.

There will be a requiem mass on Thursday, 14/09/2023 at All Saints Cathedral from 10.00am.

The burial Service will take place on Wednesday, 20/09/2023 at ACK St. Peters Church, Kibutha, Kangema. Thereafter, the interment will be held at their Family home at Githiru, Kibutha Village in Kangema, Murang’a County.

2nd Timothy 4;7 — “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

    I have lost a pleasant neighbor in Lumen Square who supported our Imaging Services. I had not met the surgeon in person but his requests said it all. May the good Lord rest his soul in eternal peace 🙏

    Its hard to believe that you are gone doc….. No way!! I must say that i have lost a friend, a very soft spoken jovial neighbor. You have left us too soon…kabla tukule mbuzi ya kufungua nyumba, but we are slowly coming to terms as your neighbours and we pray for your family during this tough season. Safiri salama.. Your presence and contribution in zone R7 will forever be missed.
