It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition to glory of our son, brother, mentor and friend, Dr. Kenneth Nyaga Marangu, which occurred on Monday 19th July 2021. He was Founding Director, Weba International and a Board Member at BIMAS Microfinance.

Son of the late Mr. Pheneas and Leah Marangu of Karimba, Meru. Son in Law to John Karanja Kiwara and Florence Nduta Karanja of Upper Matasia, Ngong. Loving husband to Jacqueline Wanjiru Nyaga. He was a doting father to Mark Marangu Nyaga, Leigh Wanjema Nyaga, Sheena Tvviri Nyaga and Aneisha Kendi Nduta Nyaga.

Brother to Mike & Emily Karimi Muthike , Franklin Micheni, Lawrence & Rose Kimathi, Peter & Elsie Muchoni Mwita, Geoffrey & Anne Mwiti,Alex Muthomi and Robert & Lizah Makena Warnbugu. Brother in law to Angela & Peter Schmid, Felix Kiwara Karanja, Alexander & Florence Kinuthia, Joan Karanja & Arnold Temple. He was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.A cousin to many, and a great friend to even many more.

Family and Friends are meeting at the All SAINTS Cathedral Nairobi at 5pm on Thursday and Friday (22 & 23 July) and Mon & Tues (26 & 27 July).

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday 28th July, 2021 at Nairobi Chapel Ngong Rd starting at 2 pm.

The burial will follow on Friday, 30th July 2021. The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati (Thika rd) at 6:45am for final rites at his home in Karimba Location of Mitheru Division, Tharaka Nithi, County.

Ken has served God’s purpose in his generation, and has now entered His Rest pp Acts 13:36

    I knew Ken personally when we met in Narok in 2018. He inspired me greatly through his wealth creation campaign. Surely, he served God’s purpose in his generation.
