It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Dr. Mercy Ngoya Emirundu (Orthopaedic Surgeon – Vihiga County Referral Hospital) of Elwakana Village, Shibinga Sub-location, Kakamega County, which occurred on 19th March, 2022.
Dear daughter of Daktari Wycliffe Aggrey Emirundu and the late Madam Julia Ayuma Emirundu.
Step-daughter to Sylvia Wambui Emirundu, Cyrillah Otande and Adelaide.
Devoted mother to Favour Clancy Jonathan.
Granddaughter to the late Zerubabel Emirundu and the late Melissa Nelima, the late Phenias Omwangu and the late Rebecca Achungo of Ebubayi East Bunyore.
Beloved sister to Danstan Omukoba, Banzi Omwangu, Sylvester Kweyu, Kenneth Emirundu, Paul Mwangi, Evangeline Amakobe, Lillian Achungo, Milly Nelima, James Were, Maureen Amakobe, Pauline Emirundu, Allan Okutoyi, Carlos Makhandia, Titus Mwaniki, Bramwel Omwangu, Patrick Mwangi and Sasha Emirundu.
A loved Aunt, Cousin and friend to many.
The cortege left Kakamega General Hospital Funeral Home on Thursday, 31st March 2022 at 8.30am for a farewell service at Vihiga County Hospital.
Thereafter, the funeral procession will head to her rural home. She will be laid to rest on Friday 1st April, 2022 at home in Elwakana village, opposite ACK Emmanuel Church – Elwakana, Shibinga Sub-location, Lubinu Location, Mumias Constituency, Kakamega County.
We really feel sorry reading death announcements. Death is our greatest enemy. Even God Jehova is not pleased. Soon He will do something about it. Read 1 Corinthians 15 :26.
Under the government of Jesus as king, he will use his great power to ressurect the dead. Read John 5:28,29. What a happy moment a head to hear announcements of resurrection.
