1959 – 2022

It has been one year since you left us, and your absence still profoundly affects our lives.Through God’s mercy and love, we have begun to find light beyond the shadow of your passing. We thank God for the precious gift of your life.Your presence enriched us in countless ways, and we are comforted knowing you rest in the embrace of our Heavenly Father.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our family, immediate and extended who have mourned with and comforted us during this challenging year.We know how deeply you share in the pain of losing Mike.

Special thanks to Drs. G.Kiarie, P.Kisyoka, G.Moniz, S.Gathua, H.Irimu, P.Etau, Oluoch Olunya, the late J.Munene and the late Prof. Kioy. Mike was your friend and you honoured that bond through your diligent care.

We also thank the staff of The Nairobi Hospital, the medical team in India and other personnel who attended to him.

We acknowledge the Pastoral teams and Christians of ACK St. Paul’s Kiambu, CITAM Valley Road, OLR Ridgeways Catholic Church and the Jesuit Community at Hekima who gave us spiritual support at a difficult time.

For many more not mentioned your kindness remains treasured.

Mike, the sorrow for your death will remain with us forever, but what is grief if not love persevering?

You live forever in our hearts and minds. Rest in Peace.
