Dr. Peter Kibuna Gitau
We regret to announce the passing on of Dr. Peter Kibuna Gitau on August 1 2022.
He was born to the late Joseph Gitau Mathigu and the late jemimah Njoki Gitau. He was the loving husband of Salome Wamuyu Kibuna, and father to Dr. Mark Joseph Gitau, Jeff Gathuku and Daniel Kamau.
He was a son-in-law to Gidraf and Jane Gathuku. He was caring brother of Daniel Kamau and Wairimu, Muiruri Gitau and Felistus, Mburu Gitau and Betty, Sammy Ndegwa, and Hon. Faith Gitau. He was a wonderful uncle to many.
Daily meetings are being held Monday to Wednesday at the family home in Garden Estate-Garden Court Lane, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.
A memorial service is planned for Thursday, August 25th 2022 at 2.00pm, at St. Mark’s Church, Westlands.
The burial will be on Friday,August 26th 2022 in Simbara, Ndaragwa Constituency, Nyandarua County. The cortege will depart Chiromo Mortuary at 6.00am.

I am so disheartened by the passing of Dr Gitau. Peter was best man to my late brother and his classmate, Dr Wamugunda. Words cannot express how it stings to hear the loss of Daktari. May God comfort all of the loved one’s especially his kids, wife and family. We pray for peace and solace in God. RIP Dearest Daktari.
