Dr. (Phd) Rispa Achieng’ Odongo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on of Dr (Phd) Rispa Achieng’ Odongo, formerly of the Commission for Higher Education, on Wednesday 20th April 2022, following a valiant battle with cancer and ongoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.

Loving wife of Engineer Maxwell Otieno Odongo, and stepmother to Gail, Nina, Edna, Esta, Aida, Myra and Noah.

Beloved daughter of the late Nathan J. Odongo and Zilpa Odongo of Lwala village, Central Karachuonyo, Homa-Bay County.

Sister to the late Hoseah K. Odongo, Joyce Gogo, Kepha Odongo, Israel Odongo, James Odongo, and the surviving Fibi Ochuodho, Deborah Ongewe, Bob Odongo and Jennipher Mboya. Adored aunts and grandmother to many.

Beloved friend and mentor.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday 4th May 2022 at 11am at St Francis Church, Karen.

The burial will be on Friday 6th May 2022 from 10am at Onjiko Location, Kobongo Sub-location, opposite Boya Police Station, along Ahero-Kericho Road.
