Dr. Simon Ndungu Gitahi

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of. Dr. Simon Ndungu Gitahi that occurred on Monday, 19.09.2022 after a short illness.

Dr. Ndungu was the 1St born of the late Jacob Gitahi Kinini and Tabitha Nyathoko Gitahi.

Dr. Ndungu is survived by his wife Jean Wanjiku and children,AnneWairimu, Dr’s Janet Nyawira & Willis Oyieko and James Gitahi.  Grandfather to Asesa, Jean, Jon) and Nathan. He was uncle to many .

Brother of Joseph Wanyeri, the late Mary Wanjiku, the late Joseph Gitonga, Clement Kanja, Cecilia Wangeci, Beatrice Wanjiru Lucy Wanja, the late Fredrick Kariuki and Moses Wangombe and Nyaguthi Kagumba & family, Patrick Waari & family, Joseph Wanyiri & family.

Nephew of the late Charles Njogu Kinini of Kigogoini.

Family and friends are meeting at his Woodley Home, Newbury Court daily. The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home at 8.30am on Tuesday, 27.09.2022 for the service at Nairobi Baptist Church Ngong Road at 10.00am. Thereafter burial will be at Langata Cemetery.
