Dr. Simon Njogu Muriuki

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dr. Simon Njogu Muriuki (Mukima Chemist), after a short illness.

Husband to Jenny Mumbi Njogu. Father of Grace Wangechi Njogu (Mace YMR -Nairobi), Leah Wanjiku Njenga (Director SAWA Excellent Education Center -Nairobi), James Muriuki Njogu (African Union HQ – Ethiopia). Father-in-law to Rev. HSC Samuel Njenga Ngugi (Deputy Chair Kenya Private Schools – Nairobi County).

Son of the late James Muriuki and the late Grace Wangechi. Brother to the late Annastacia Nyaguthii, Mercy Muthoni, Joseph Njogu & Agnes, John Kinyua& Esther, Joseph Karigu & the late Catherine, Charles Muchoki & Esther, Ann Nyagiithil, Christopher Kanyeki & Peris and Peter Wamae & Esther.

Brother-in-law to Paul & Agnes, the late Hannah, Salome & Gichero, Loise, Mary, Felicia and Geoffrey.

Grandfather to Jeremy, Faith, Ruben, Ron, Caleb, Leon, Prince and lvanna.

Uncle to Timo, Grace, James, Jane, Grymo among others.

Prayers and burial arrangements are going on at his homes in Giakairu, past Karatina Police Station and Giakaibei Village, starting at 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary – Karatina on Wednesday 26th October 2022 at 7.30am for funeral service and burial at his home Giakaibei village Mathira West, Nyeri County at 10.00am.
