It is with profound sadness and acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing of Duncan Joshua Oduge Awuondo.
He was the son of the late Aggrey Awuondo and Damaris Awuondo of Gem Ukaya.
Husband to Esther Awuondo and father to Selina and Lorenzo.
Brother to Moses Oyoo, Paul Ateng, Dr. Rachel Monyoncho, Dinah Awuondo, Jane Odipo, Emmanuel Ochieng and the late Loise Awuondo.
Brother-in-law to Ken Monyoncho, Andrew Otieno, Hannah Lamboi, LilianOyoo, Joyce Ateng and Tiffany Loko.
Uncle to Traicy, Sue, Betsy, Dennis, Fiona, Emmy, Damaris, Maya, Aggrey, Lavine and Robert, Elizabeth,Valerie and Tim, Stacey and Terence, Dama and Abigail.
Nephew to Charles Odera, Dinah Ouyo and Jim Oriwo, the late Elizabeth Odula, the late Lily Ochieng, the late Nehemia Oyoo,Yusuf Odera,William Wajewa, Walter Oluande, Wellington Olele among others.
Cousin to the Oderas, Odulas, Ochiengs, Oduols, Oriwos, Oyoos, Wajewas, Oderas, Akowas, Oluandes and Oleles among others.
Son-in-law to the late Mr. Joseph Sinnah and the late Isata Sinnah of Sierra Leone.
There will be a fundraising to offset funeral expenses on Monday, 28th March, 2022 at CITAM VALLEY ROAD, McBride Hall from 5:00pm. Pay Bill 5741693 Name Duncan Awuondo Funeral Fund. Account number your name.
Funeral service will be on 29th March, 2022 at CITAM Valley Road at 10 am.
Burial will take place on 31st March, 2022 in Gem, Ukaya.

Uncle Duncan was generous, wise, and a natural-born storyteller. We will deeply miss him and remember him always
So long my good brother. You checked out too soon. We shared allot in the course of time. You always gave good advice. We had allot still left to do, including our research on cognitive disability (autism) that I am now left to complete without you. Rest be assured, I will work on it. Rest easy comrade.
