Edith Wanjiru Wainaina (wa Matiiri)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Mrs. Edith Wanjiru Wainaina (wa Matiiri) of Giatutu village, Kigio Sub-location, Murang’a County on 24th June, 2021, at The Coptic Hospital – Nairobi.

Loving wife of Mr. Julius Matilri Kibaka. Daughter of the late Benson Macharia Gatigithu and the late Beatrice Wangui Macharia. Daughter-in-law of the late Danson Kibaka and the late Peris Wanjiku Kibaka. Cherished mother of Cathrine Wanjiku, Susan Beatrice Wangui and Danson Wainaina. A doting and loving grandmother of Ivan Gathuru, Essie Wambui and Victoria Wanjiru.

Close family members are meeting at her home in Giatutu, Gatanga every day from 3:00 pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home, Nairobi on Friday 2nd July, 2021, at 8:00am, for a church service at PCEA – Giatutu, at 10:30am. Strict Covid19 protocols shall be observed as per MoH guidelines.
