Edward Morema Nyagechi & Grace Mong’ina Morema

We are saddened to announce the untimely and brutal deaths of Edward Morema Nyagechi and Grace Mong’ina Morema of Nyamakoroto, which occurred at their home in the hands of unknown assailants at Nyamakoroto Village in Nyamira County.

Edward Morema Nyagechi was the son of the late Joseph Nyagechi Machoka and the late Moraa Nyagechi, the late Kemunto and the late Gekone. Edward was brother to the late Karinga, the late Peris,Thomas Nyagechi, the late Mosoti, the late Nyagaka, the late Mounde,Aaron Angwenyi, the late Mongi’na, the late Ochando, Samwel Bosire, the late Truphosa, Grace, Bernard Nyagechi and Florence Moraa.

Brother-in-law to the late Jeria,Agnes, Elizabeth, Jerusha,Truphena, Maria, Hellen, the late Joyce, the late Gladys, Rudia, the late Ann, the late Dina, Nyarega, the late Ongaki, the late Makori and Juma.

Grace Mong’ina Morema was the daughter of the late Ombui Somoni and the late Askah Kwamboka, Nyangau and Keremensia, Mose and Aska, Obong’o, and Josephine. Grace was sister to Sibia, the late Alice, Naomi, Evans, the late Nyaminsa, Kambaga, Dinah, Janet, Ongaki and Bochere.

Grace and Edward were loving parents to Cliff Matundura, Carroline Moraa (USA), Raphael Nyagaka, Winnie Nyakanga (USA), Joseph Nyagechi (USA), Bonface Nyagaka and parents-in-law to Catherine Moraa.

Grandparents to Levi, Jeremy, Janise, Janelle, among others.

Aunty and Uncle to the late Daniel, Gladys, Patrice, David, Elkanah, Kennedy, Moraa, Nyagaka, Dickson, Grace, Naomi, Job, Paciflka, Jane, Willy, Phelister, Emily (USA), Obisa, Sarah (USA), Rhoda, Purity, Fedina, Melody, Sheila,Valarie, Brian and among others.

Grace was the niece of Mokaya Obwocha, Florence, Oyweri, Kemunto, Jomo, and Chepter.

There will be a major fundraising today 11th April, 2023 from 6.00pm at Nairobi Central SDA Church, Old Chapel and at his Nyamakoroto home. Treasurer’s no: 0722743388.

The cortege will leave Kisii Level Six Hospital on 13th April, 2023 to their Nyamakoroto home for an overnight vigil followed by the funeral service and interment at their home on 14th April, 2023.
