Edwin Gitonga Kamundi

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mr. Edwin Gitonga Kamundi on 9th September, 2022. He was a tutor at St. Lawrence Egoji Teachers’ College.

Son of the late Sarafino Kamundi and the late Edith Iruma.
Son-in-law to the late Mwenda and Judith. He was former husband to Stella Mugure. Loving father to Eistein Murithi and Mark Mwenda. Brother to Kirimi, Kawira, Kimathi, Gakii, Gatakaa, Duncan, Fr. Kibaara, Kathure, Mwiti and Nkirote. Grandfather to Njambi Murithi. Brother-in—law to Kithuci, Mbaabu, Gitonga, Mugambi and the late Kithinji. Uncle to Kinoti, Brenda and many others.

The cortege leaves Chogoria Mission Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 16th September 2022 at 9.30a.m or funeral mass at Iruma Catholic Church. Thereafter, interment at Gatumbi village, Iruma Sub-location (next to Iruma Girls’ High School).
