It is with great sadness that we announce the death of former PS, Mr. Edwin Shisia Osundwa, EBS on 11th January, 2023.

Loving husband of Salome Osundwa and Elizabeth Shisya. Beloved father of Caroline Osundwa, Antony Osundwa, Roselidah Osundwa, Biliah Ashika Mang’unyi, Benson Ingutia, Joseph Shisya and Juliet Shisya. Step-father to Judith, Jacqueline, Jeretina and Gerald.

Father-in-law to Flora Osundwa, Eric Mang’unyi and Rahab Ingutia.

Grandfather to Vallence, Talia, Shawn, Ethan, Alvin, Lucas, Lilly, Lyndon, Dylan, Juliet, Adam and Jonah.

Brother to Wilson Shilingi, Isaac Were, Dickson Barasa, Jackson Osundwa, Leah Opwora. Lorna Opayire, Peninah Webukha,Agneta Nyarotso (All Late), Eunice Makokha, Phylis Amumbwe and Rehenia Ashika. Uncle, brother-in-law, mentor and friend to many.

Meetings will be held at All Saints Cathedral. Nairobi at 5.30pm on Tuesday 17th January, Wednesday 18th January, Friday 20th January 2023 and a fundraiser on Tuesday 24th January 2023. Daily meetings will also be held at his rural home in Mumias, Kakamega county, at 5.00pm.

The cortege will leave St Mary’s Hospital, Mumias on 26th January 2023 for his Mwisasia, Lubinu residence in Mumias. The Funeral Service will be held at the same venue in Lubinu on Friday the 27th January 2023.
