Elder Alfayo Ayiera Nyambosero

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved father Elder Alfayo Ayiera Nyambosero on Tuesday, 28th June 2022 of Mesobwa-lkonge, Nyamira County which occurred at the Metropolitan Hospital Nairobi.

He was the third born son of the late Peter Nyambosero and the late Sarah Kerubo. Beloved husband of Peninah Bosibori. Brother to the late Arani, the late Ndege, the late Moraa, the late Ongosi, Osoro, Ocharo, the late Bochaberi, Atuya, Guto and Kemunto.

Cherished father to Alice Nyabate, Henry Tom, Dr. (Pastor) Zablon Nyaenya, Damacline Moraa, Handson Nyakiba, Eucabeth Bwari, Elijah Arasa, Roseline Kwamboka, Edna Kemunto and Ruth Gesare. Father-in-law to Esther Tom, Joan Nyaenya, Esther Nyakiba, and Betty Arasa. Grandfather to 30 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren including Richard, Samuel, Joyce, Frank, Elizabeth, Adeline, among others.

Uncle to Arani’s, Ndege’s, Ongosi’s, Ocharo’s, Osoro’s, Atuya’s, Guto’s, Omoro’s, Osebe’s and Kemunto’s, Makori’s, Nyagetari’s, Kionga’s, Sibia’s, and Bilha’s.

In-law to the late Makori, Kionga, Arwonga, Nyonseba, Bochaberi, Omoro, Osebe and Asara. Semo to the late Chiebose and the late Okemwa. He was a Korera to the late Mwamu, the late Ndubi, Oroba, Omete, the late Onyoka, Mayaga, Osiemo, Maina, Since and Obwocha.

Family and friends are meeting at Dr. (Pastor) Zablon Nyaenya Ayiera’s residence at County Estate, and at his Mesobwa-lkonge home, Nyamira County at 5.30pm each day.

A fundraiser to offset the hospital bill and cover funeral expenses will be held today the 6th July 2022 at LMS Maxwell Church Simba Hall (Chakaya Kikwete Road, Opposite Integrity Centre) at 5.30pm and at home Mesobwa-Ikonge.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday, 8th ,July 2022 for overnight rest at home Mesobwa-lkonge, Nyamira County.There will be a Church service on Saturday, 9th July 2022 at home. Mzee will be laid to rest on Sunday, 10th July 2022 at the same place.
