Elder Erastus Wachira Gachingiri

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Brother Elder Erastus Wachira Gachingiri, who resided in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

Son of the late Harrison Gachingiri and Martha Wanjugu. Brother to the late Esther Wangui Kamau, Leah Njoki, Moses Njuguna, Grace VVangari, the late Mary Wanjiru and David Mwaniki.

Husband to Purity Wangui Wachira. Son-in-law to the late Harrison Githinji
and the late Priscilla Murugi. Father to Joshua Gachingiri, Harrison Githinji, Ann Wanjugu and Rose Murugi.

Father-in-law to Grace Nyambura, John Mwangi and Lawrence Kuria. Grandfather to Michelle, Abigael, Dallas, Lee, Joey and Vivian.

Family, friends and wellwishers are meeting daily at his home in Kinoo, near shopping centre, from 5:00pm for prayers and to prepare his final farewell.

The cortege will leave PCEA – Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 31st August 2022, for the funeral service at PCEA Church of The Torch,Thogoto at 11.00am. Burial will be held at the Church Cemetery.
