Husband to Rebecca Kerubo Nyankira. Son to Nyaundi Omaanya and Nyamanga Nyaore. Father to Prof.Alice Ondigi (KU), Margaret Nyamweya (Nairobi), Johnson Nyankira (Kamagambo), Sellah Ogenche (Nairobi), Ezra Nyankira (USA), Joscah Makori (Nakuru) Irene Omari (Naivasha) and Edward Ogasa (USA).

Father-in-law to Prof. Samson Ondigi (KU), James Nyamweya (KPA), Tom Ogenche (Nairobi), Moses Makori (Kisii), Joseph Omani (Naivasha), Linet Nyaundi (Kisii), Euphemia Mokua (USA) and Francesca Ogasa (USA).

Brother to the late Bosibori, the late Omaanya, the late Mong’ina, the late Oyugi, the late Okaru, the late Nyasuguta, the late Mokeira, the late Arika, the late Maburi, Jeremiah, Gesare, Caren, Esther-and the late Ruth.

Grandfather to Olivia, Richard, Wesley, Esnah, Judy, Kemmy, Dennis, Newton, Byron, Sheldon, Nicky, Cynthia, Euginia, Malcom, Ma’Alliyah, Marcepah, Josiah, Pisgah, Brian, Kepha, Stacy, Becky, Precious, Josiah Davida, Josiah and Denise. Great grandfather to many.

The cortege will leave HEMA hospital mortuary on 9th February 2023 and the burial will be on Friday, 10th February 2023 at his Nyamagwa home Village, Kisii County.
