Elder Mary Mukenyi Njunge

 Date of birth: 16th March 1953 – Date of death: 5th April 2018

In His perfect time. God called to a peaceful rest our cherished mother, grandma, sister and friend Elder Mrs Mary Mukenyi Njunge on Thursday morning 5th April 2018. She hailed from Karamba-ini Tigoni, Limuru.

She was the dotting wife of the late Geoffrey Niunge Mungai and daughter of the late Stephen Karanja Mugonora and the late Rahab Wanjiku Karanja. Cherished mother of Rachel Wanjiku Thumbi, mother-in-law of Thumbi Mwangi and grandma of Rene’e Mukenyi and Wambuthia Thumbi.

Sister of the late Hannah Waithira, late Pauline Wanjiru, late Jane Wambui, Nancy Njeri and Peter Wainaina, Margaret Wairimu, Joseph Kimani, Micheal and Njambi Mwaura and Elizabeth Mwihaki Sister in-law of Mary Nyandundu, Fredrick and Isabella Muroki, Francis and Grace Nienga Ann Ngoiri, late John and Mary Kairu, Esther Nyokabi, and Migwi and Daniel and Rose Biaru.

Friends and family arc meeting daily at home in Karambaini, Tigoni from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Uplands Funeral Home on Friday, 13th April 2018 at 9.00 am for church service at PCEA Karambai-ini church in Tigoni starting at 11am, and thereafter the burial ceremony at her home.
