Elder Naftaly Kiugu King’ori, formerly of Kenya Posts and Telecommunications and retired elder of PCEA Bahati, Nairobi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Elder Naftaly Kiugu King’ori (formerly of Kenya Posts and Telecommunications and retired elder of PCEA Bahati Martyrs Church, Nairobi.

Son of the late John King’ori Wanyeki and the late Jeddidah Gatheru King’ori of Ihithe Tetu Sub-County in Nyeri.

Husband of Mary Wanjiru King’ori (formerly of Kenya Railways). Father of Esther Wambui Kiugu, Eric King’ori Kiugu, Sally Waigumo Kiugu, Andrew Thuku Kiugu, Annah Wachinga Mutuma and Millicent Wacera Maara.

Brother of Shiphira Wanjiru, the late Josphat Wanyeki, Rahab Wamuyu Mwangi, Nehemiah Wambugu and the late Rufus Muigua.

Father-in-law of Rachael King’ori, the late Jackson Kang’ethe. Jane Thuku, Samson Ambutu and Samuel Maara and an uncle and grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Buruburu Phase 4 from 6:30pm for prayers and at PCEA St.Andrew’s Church Hall Room 3 from 5.00pm.

There will be a major fundraising at St. Andrew’s on Tuesday 12th March 2019 from 5.00pm to 7.30pm to settle outstanding medical bills.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Thursday 14th March, 2019 at 7.00am, followed by a Funeral service at PCEA Bahati Church. Thereafter the burial will take place at the family home in Ihithe Tetu Sub-County, Nyeri County.
