It is with humble acceptance that we the family of the late Mika Onyango announce the death of Elder Peter Odera Onyango of Kanyipir, Got Komollo village, Rachuonyo sub country.
Son of the late Mzee Mika Onyango Gwa and the late Hellena Oketch. Husband of Ludia Atieno. Brother of the late Thomas Omollo, the late Ezra Oyieyo, Joel Onyango, Perez Osawa, the late Margaret Adem, Rose Ayoma, Eunice Rakiro, Maritha Odondi, Barnabas Agar (UoE), Prof Omollo Ongati, Joshua Omboga, Gilbert Amonde, Mordicai Ogembo, Dr Japheth Ogendi, Mathew Onyango, Ezekiel Akunja, Prof George Khroda amongst others. Father of Johnson Oyugi (Moi Girls’ Vokoli), Molly Odera, Beatrice Odera, Alice, Micah, Elizabeth, Aggrey and Hellen Odera. Uncle of Wilfred Omollo, Hesbon Omollo, Dr Ray Omollo, Evans Oyieyo, Martin Shikuku, Linet Akoth, Hellen Agar, Nixon Omondi, Fred Osawa amongst others. Brother-in-law of the late Grace Omollo, Joyce Omollo, the late Dinah Oyieyo, Mary Gwa, Eunice Agar.
Father in law of Elizabeth Ombija, Judith Odhiambo, Alice Oyugi and Evelyn Ongaya.
The body leaves Kendu Adventist Hospital on the 15th June, 2017 and burial will take place on the 16th June, 2017 at his home in Got Omollo village, Rachuonyo North Sub-county
