It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on of Elder Samwel Njuguna Ng’ang’a on Friday 11th March 2022 after a short illness.

He was a son to the late Ngiang’a Gathairu & Anne Njeri Ng’ang’a and Mumbi Ng’ang’a (stepmother).

Loving husband to Alice Wariara Njuguna.

Adoring father to Paul Ng’ang’a, Annah Njeri, Racheal Wairimu, David Mwangi, Jane Wanjiru, John Mwaura and Rose Wambui.

Father-law to Pauline Wanjiru Ng’ang’a, the late Martha Nyaruiru Mwaura, Caroline Wanjiru Mwangi, Prof. Joseph Kieyah and Daniel Matovu.

Dotting grandfather to Samuel Njuguna Ng’ang’a, Alice Wariara Ng’ang’a, Gabriel Kimuhu Ng’ang’a, Morna-Ray Wariara, Daniel Njuguna Mwangi, Nathan Njuguna Mwaura, Peter Gakonde Mwaura, Kathy Wariara Mwaura, Abel Muhoro Njuguna, Oliver Matovu and Joshua Matovu; great grandfather to Njeri Muhoro.

Samwel was brother to Mwaura, Gichuki, Wanjiru, Wainaina, Gideon Itotia all deceased and John Kangarua; stepbrother to Wanjiru, Ndumburu Mwaura and Harrison Karanja all deceased.

Daily prayers are being held at his home in Ngarariga, Limuru from 4p m.

The burial will be held on Tuesday 22nd March 2022.

The cortege will leave from Uplands Funeral Home at 9.30 a.m. for a funeral service at AIC & PCEA Church Ngarariga, Limuru at 10.00 am.

Thereafter he will be laid to rest at his farm in Gitithia, Lari Constituency, Kiambu County.

May his soul rest in eternal peace. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell In the house of the LORD forever. – Psalm 23:6
