It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Elder Stanley Gathungu Kiohi of PCEA Bahati Martyr’s Church Nairobi and resided at Joska. He hailed from Gikoe Villake, Njurnbi location, Murang’a County.

Loving husband to Mary Wanjiru Gathungu. Son to the late Moses Kiohi Thitu and the late Gladys Wacheke Kiohi. Father to Moses Kiohi, Gladys Wacheke, Priscilla Wanjiku and Samson Gikungu.

Brother to Mary Muregi, Joyce Wanjiku, Susan Njomo, Robert Macharia, Evelyn Wanjiru, the late Peter Mwangi, Sylvia Wangui, Francis Kariuki Kiohi.

Father-in-Law to Fidelis Kiohi, David Gichohi, Sharon Gikungu, Bish Wachira.

Son-in-law to the late Samson and the late Priscilla Gikungu. Brother-in-law to Gichomo, Chege, Warui, Kanogo, Njoki, Elispah, Wangari, Macharia.

Nephew to Francis Muchori, the late Gathoni Muhindi, the late Macharia, the late Kimani and the late Kamau.

Cousin and uncle to many and adoring grandfather to Shanice, Adriana, Kiton, Stanley, Wayne, Arthur.

Family and friends are meeting at his residence, Joska and at PCEA Bahati Martyrs’ Church at 6.00 pm.

The cortege will leave KU Referral Funeral Home at 7.00am followed by Burial Service on Thursday, 17th November, 2022, 9.00a.m. at PCEA Bahati Martyrs’ Church. Thereafter burial will be at PCEA Kikuyu Presbytery Cemetery (behind PCEA Thogoto, Church of Torch).

The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. May the name of the Lord be praised, JOB 1:21 .
