Wife of Mzee Njeru Mwea. Co-wife of the late VeronicaWeveti Mbugua.

She was third born of the late Kamirici and the late Mutave Wamai. Sister to the late Njura, the late Mbogo, Nvuko, and the late Ngai.

Mother to Lucy Ndwiga, Patrick Mwaniki, the late Francis Muriuki, Joseph Murithi, Virginia Marigu, Peterson Njue, Ambrose Ireri (USA) and Dr. Caroline Wandiri.

Step-mother to the late Bernard Nyaga, Prof. Sixtus Mwea, the late Jacinta Kamurwana, Sebastian Kathuri, Agnes Gichema, AnnRose Nderi, Martin Njiru, Purity Muthoni (Botswana), Hilary Ireri, Perris Kanini, and Florence Wanjira (Australia).

Mother-in-law to Perris Igandu, Benson Ndwiga, Eleanor Wambogo, Michael Kamurwana, Ann Jackline Kanini, Damaris Mukami, the late Jenifer Gichuku, Gichema Wanjohi, Sheila Muthoni, the late Alfred Nthiga, Oscar Nderi, Esther Wanjeri, Rachel Wangari, the late Patrice Malonza, Simon Waweru and Ken Muthinja (Australia).

She was grandmother and great grandmother to 37 and 18 children respectively.

Friends and relatives are meeting today 13th July, 2023 & tomorrow 14th July, 2023 at Dominic Hall, Holy Family Basilica from 5.00pm to 8.00pm and everyday at family home in Kianjuki Village.

The cortege leaves Tenri Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday, 18th July 2023 for funeral service and burial at her home in Kianjuki Village, Embu County.
