Eliud Kang’iri Gathua

Our beloved Eliud Kang’iri Gathua went to be with the Lord on 25th September 2019 while undergoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.

Son of the late Gathua ltuha and the late Phyllis Wanjeri Gathua both of Gikoe village, Njumbi location, Mathioya division, Muranga County. Loving husband of Mary Wangui Kang’iri. Father to Agnes Kiragu (United Nations-IFAD), Peter Kang’iri, Jane Njeri, James Kanyingi, Judy Waniiku and Martin Mwaniki. Father-in-law to Stephen K. Kihara (Bungoma County Commissioner), Margaret lrungu, Peter King’ora, Lucy Njoki, Mike Ariwi (Superior Cargo-Airport) and Jane Nyambura. Grandfather of Kevin, Collins, Melvin, Melissa, Melanie, Tirzah, Ryan, Ryden, Natasha, Chantel and Ishmael. Brother of Mwaniki, the late Macharia, Kiragu, Jacinta, the late Warui and the late Murache. Step brother of the late Haran and the late Waniiku (WaCui).

Friends and relatives are meeting at the All Saints Cathedral from the 30th September 2019 to the 3rd October 2019 from 5.30pm and at his Gikoe home.

The cortege will leave the Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday the 4th October 2019 at 8.00am followed by a memorial service at 11.00 am at the Gikoe Catholic Church.

The funeral will take place at his home in Gikoe village thereafter.
