It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Elizabeth Wahura Gachichio of Gichiche Village, Chinga Location, Othaya Sub-county, Nyeri county which occurred on 22.06.2022.

Wife of the late Senior Chief Gachichio Wachira. Daughter of the late Francis Kang’i and the late Jane Nyambura Kang’i. Mother-of Emily wanjiku Kondoro, the late Solomon Wachira, the late David Maina and Mary Nyambura Gikonyo (H/teacher Murema Pri. Kasarani. Step-mother of Wanjiku Ngero, Harrison Wachira, Wambugu, Ben Gachichio (county secretary-Nyeri), Mathew Ndau, the late Kariuki among others.

Sister of the late Nyamu Kang’i, Kanyi Matindi, Wangari, Wambui and the late Kiragu. Mother-in-law of Isaac Kondoro, Esther Wachira (former H/Teacher Kariko Primary School) and David Gikonyo.

Grandmother of Wangui, Gituku, Mercy Mbuvi, Wanja, Nyambura, Maina, Gachichio, Njoki, Gachambi, Kuria, Kingi (Gichiche H Ware), Hon, Gichuki Mugambi (Mp Othaya), Advocate Mwaniki Gacoka, Chris Gacicio (Central Bank), Peter (Pigeon), Nlwai, Gathoni (Denmark) among many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and burial arrangements at Beats Lounge (formerly beehive opp. Kasarani Police Station, Kiamumbi residence of Mr & Mrs Gikonyo and her rural home.

The cortege leaves K.U. funeral home on 02.07.2022 at 7.00 a m for burial at her home Gichiche at 11.00am.
