It is with humble acceptance of God’s Will that we announce the passing on of Elly Owano yukohat occurred on Wednesday 18th July 2018 at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.

Son of the late Japuonj John Epaphras Yuko, Mama Lucia Yuko and Esther Yuko of Orando School, Seme Kaila Kisumu County. Son-in-law of the late Pius Ayako and the late Mama Gaudensia Aduda Ayako of Uyoma Rabel, SiaYa County. Husband of Rose Ouma Ayako-Owano. Father of Lucy Atieno Owano, John Yuko Owano, Alex Ayako Owano, Horace Onyango Owano and Dorsi Onono Owano.

Grandfather of Michael Oyoo and Raymond Tadale. Brother of Engineer David Yuko, Prof (Dr) Christine Jowi, the late Ezekiel Okoth, the late Francis Anyuoga, Penina Agola, Zablon Otondi, the late Evans Anyuoga, the late Caroline Akinyi, Dr. Willis Oso, Boaz Arina, the late Erick Akuom, Shem Martin Yuko, Evelyn Kwadha, James Ogosi, Isaiah Obila, and the late Edyson Ochieng.

There will be a Fund Raiser at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, on Tuesday 31st July 2018 from 5:30 pm to of set funeral expenses.

A memorial service will be conducted at St. James ACK Buruburu on Wednesday 01 August 2018 from 2:00 pm.

The cortege leaves his Nairobi house in Umoja II on Thursday 02 August 2018 for burial which will take place on Friday 3rd August 2018 at his home in Orando, Seme Kaila, Kisumu County.
