It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Gogo Emily Chepngetich Tuimur of Kapngetuny Location, Nandi County on 1st June, 2022.
Daughter of Malakwen arap Yongo and Kesimo Taprandich Yongo. Sister to Esther Cheptarus Chemwor, Councillor Michael Kipkasi Chepkwony and Sally Chelagat Korir. Emily was married to the late Edwin Kipketer. Tuimur. Mother to CAS Dr. Andrew, Philip, Leah, the late Hellen, Dr. Richard and Mark Tuimur. Mother-in-law to Christine, Dr. Hilda, Maureen and Caroline.
Grandmother to Carole, Adrian, Allan, Ian, Evelyne, Sharon, Ken, Carol, Judy, Melvin, Miracle, Clarence, Randy, Diana, Jeff and Jimmy. Great-grandmother to Chris and Kiki.
Burial arrangements are ongoing at her home in Kabutiei village, Kapsabet Township.
Gogo Emily Tuimur will start her final journey on Friday 10th June, 2022 from the MTRH Farewell Home for her Kapsabet home. She will be laid to rest on Saturday 11th June, 2022 at her home in Kabutiei village, Nandi County.
