Eng. Ayatolla Omondi Kijaro

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Engineer Ayatolla Omondi Kijaro of Kenya Pipeline Company Limited that occurred on 9th October 2022 at Avenue Hospital, Nairobi.

Son of the late Dr James Omondi Kijaro and the late Clarke Adhiambo Obara. Loving husband to Jackline Njunge of I & M Bank Nairobi and Faith Chepkoech. Beloved father to Lisa Kijaro.

Beloved brother to Arafat Kijaro Eng. Geofrey Kijaro of Frontier Eng and Dr Lucy Kijaro of KEMRI.

Nephew to Canon Ibrahim Odhiambo the late Joshua Onyango the late Shadrack Nyang’wara, David Kijaro, Lucy Ojenje, Prof Omondi Oracha of Maseno University and Peter Anguka Obara. His aunties were Janet Achieng Obara, Pamela Anyango Obara, Josephine Akeyo Obara among others. Grandson to Mama Adah Awuor Adero and Mama Margaret Odero Obara. He was a cousin nephew and friend to many others.

Prayers and meetings are being held at 5.00 pm daily at Norwich Union House along Mama Ngina Street opposite Hilton Hotel 4th floor room 11.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday 21st October 2022. He will be laid to rest on 22nd October 2022 at the family home in Asembo Ramba, Siaya County.
