It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of Engineer James Bahati Murwa. He passed away on 24th December 2022 at Nairobi Hospital Casualty. He was a former employee at Esese Engineering, Kenya Planters Co-Operative Union, Kenya Pipeline Company, and Eagle Power Services where he served as Managing Director and CEO until his demise.

Son to the Late Mufwoko Nawali Murwa and the Late Felestus Esalano Murwa.

Loving husband to Monicah Makanga Bahati of Total Energies. He was a father to Collins Bahati, Natasha Hope Bahati, Sandra Agnes Shiami, Shekinah Bahati, Nicholas Bahati, Jonathan Sifa Bahati, Precious Hope Bahati, Blessing Dori Bahati. Grandfather to Jabali Murwa Bahati and Tumi Jaireh Esalano Bahati.

Brother to Dr. Vankwa Indeche, Esther Ayuma, Claire Ariamka Omfwoko, Joel Enane, Rhoda Amimo lgosangwa, Joyce Atemo, Violet Asiko.

Brother-in-law to Priscah Indeche, Fred Oketch, Carolyne Enane, Prof. Solomon lgosangwa, Zadock Okoko, Wycliffe Makanga, Betty Oyuga, Selpha Okusi, Benard Makanga, the Late Peter Makanga, Miriam Makanga, Enock Makanga, Phoebe Makanga.

Requiem mass will be on Thursday 29th December 2022 from 9:30 am at Montezuma Funeral Home.

The burial will take place on Saturday 31st December 2022 in Mumboha village, Luanda sub-county, Vihiga county.
