The Family wishes to announce the death of Eng. Daniel Mutuku Saiva of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) on 12th April, 2022.

He was the son of Loise Ndeto Saiva and the late Wilson Saiva Kyele. Husband to Sabina Kamende Mutuku.

Father to Irene Mukenya Mutuku, Patrick Uvatha Mutuku, Patricia Kakuvi Mutuku, Steve Kyalo Mutuku & Maureen Mathei Mutuku.

Father-In-law to Boniface Kathurima, Mercy Kawira, Philip Sambu, Elizabeth Mwongeli and Jackson Kimanthi.

Brother to Ruth Maeke, Ndinda Mutuku, Grace Musau, Dorcas Mutuku and Moses Saiva. Son-In-law to Kieke Mulandi and Kavuli Mulandi. Brother-In-law to Elizabeth Kathuku, Philomena Mulandi, Rosemary Mulandi, Hellen Mulandi, Ann Mulandi, Maria Mulandi, Maeke Kithuka, Late Mutuku Mbuvi, James Makonyi and Musau Nzoka. Cousin to the Josiah’s, Kitabu’s, Kikwau’s, Mwaniki’s, and the Muteti’s. Nephew to Ndule Mutuku and the late Muteti Kyele. Uncle to the children of Kathuku, Maeke, Mutinda, Musau, and Makonyi. Grandfather to Ethan Mutuku, Kyle Mwenda, Jayden Sambu, Jiovanni Sambu, William Mwendwa Kyalo, Blessing Pendo Kyalo and Nathaniel Kimanthi

Family and friends are meeting at his home at Juja, JKUAT Main Campus and at Vota in Machakos County from 5:30pm for prayers and funeral preparations.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home (Gate B), on 22nd April, 2022 at 6.00am for a church service and thereafter, burial will be held at their home in Vota, Machakos from 9,00am.
