Eng. Wilfred Ondieki Mayaka

It is with deep sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our clearly beloved Eng. Wilfred Ondieki Mayaka of Mosobeti, Nyamira County on Saturday 13th September, 2025.

Son of late Mayaka Mayaka and the late Kwamboka Nyauo Mayaka.

He was a cherished and devoted husband of Mrs. Susanah Bosibori Ondieki. Loving father of Annold Getaro, the late Callaghan Ogega, Benjamin Mochama, Stela Omari and Golda Mayaka. He was a beloved father-in-law of Bathseba Getaro, Peter Omari, and Mary Samuel.

Son-in-law of the late Mzee James Maraga and the late Mama Helena Nyaranda.

Brother of the late Gesare, the late Nyachuba, the late Ong’era, the late Nyangweso, the late Osumo, the late Nyakundi, ClIr. Peterson Machogu, Prof. Benjamin Ondigi, Siriba, Nyabuti, Nyamoita among others.

Brother-in-law of Yunis Ondoro, the late Zephania Omosa, Absalom Nyang’ate, the late Samuel Mong’ate, Laban Mouti, Patroba, Ombongi, the late Isaac Oeba, Rael Mireri, Joyce Boyani, Priscilla Moraa, Kwamboka, Yunuke, Alloys, Simeon, Nyanchama, Beatrice, Agnes, Martha, Jennifer, Gladys among others.

Grandfather of Jakin, Joy, Isaack, Natasha, Asher, Adriel, Abi, Jerry and Jetriel.

The cortege leaves Star Mortuary Kisumu on Thursday 25th September; 2025, followed by burial service on Friday 26th September, 2025 at his home in Mosobeti Village, Nyamira County.
