Ephantus Kamuri Gathuri
1934 – 2022
The Family of Ephantus Kamuri Gathuri, with profound sadness, announce the passing of their Patriarch in the early morning of 13th December, 2022.
Mr. Gathuri enjoyed a long, happy and blessed life, full of health, experiencing fullness of joy with his dear wife of 62 years, Grace Wanjeri Gathuri. Their joy was enhanced by Patricia Gathuri, Deeg Gathuri, Jean Solitei & Kari Mwaura (his 4 daughters) Leni Koinet Solitei & Victor Mwaura Gichuru (his sons-in-love) and Kamuri Ivan, Netania Njeri, Petra Wanjeri, Sotua & Serian (his grandchildren).
Mr. Gathuri was the son of the late Gathuri Njuguna & the late Lucy Nyambura of Kangema while his Siblings are the late Jane Wanjiru & Peter Mukuha. He was son-in-law of the late Hosea Mucaba & the late Mariamu Waruiru, also of Kangema.
A Prayer Meeting will be held on Sunday, 18th December, 2022, at the Family Home in Loresho starting at 3.00pm.
The Memorial Service will be held at The Consolata Shrine, Westlands, on 22nd December, 2022, starting at 9.45am.
A requiem mass will be held at a date to be announced.
