Ephraim Gacigua Ruhiu  

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Ephraim Gacigua Ruhiu on 26 September 2019.

Son of the Late Hiram Ruhiu Muriithi and the late Virginia Hiuko Ruhiu. Husband of the late Winfred Njoki Gacigua and the late Agnes Katungwa Gacigua. Father of Robert Ruhiu, James Gakuo, Charles Muriithi and Brian Ruhiu. Father in law of Beatrice Wacera Ruhiu and Susan Nyakio Muriithi. Brother of Elsie Wanjiru, the late Lawrence Muriithi, Mercy Wairimu, J. H. R. Murigu, Margaret Wanjugu, Timothy Irimu and the late Titus Githui. Brother in law of Jane Nduta, Charles Murigu, Esther Ngima, George Kinyah, Priscillah Mukuhi, Rachel Gathigia and Gladwell Muthoni. Son in law of the late Gakuo Mwai, the late Wangu Gakuo, the late Samuel Nzina and the late Monicah Mbithi. Brother-in-law of Mumbi Muriuki, Daniel Nzina, Henry Nzina among many others. Grandfather of Virginia Muthoni, Allan Gacigua, Kimberly Njoki, Audrey Njoki, Trevor Gacigua, and Myra Njeri.

Friends and relatives will meet on Monday 30 September and Tuesday 1 October 2019 at Cardinal Otunga Hall at 6pm.

The cortege will leave Jamii Hospital Mortuary, Karatina on Wednesday 2 October 2019 at 8am for funeral service and burial thereafter at lruri village, Ruguru Location, Mathira Division, Nyeri County.
